I started composing when I was about 14 yrs old. I decided to pursue science at university and not music, I am therefore mostly self taught. In my late twenties I took private lessons in harmony and counterpoint. Later, I took a Masters degree in music at Southampton University. Among other works I have composed a series of short concertos for every common instrument of the orchestra, three chamber operas, 7 piano sonatas and 4 string quartets.
