Caroline Collingridge

Caroline Collingridge studied flute, piano, singing and composition in London, gaining ARCM on flute. She continued flute studies with Edward Beckett (Guildhall School of Music and Drama), Christopher Hyde (The Royal College of Music) and in master classes with William Bennett and Trevor Wye. She gained a BMus at Goldsmiths College, University of London, specialising in flute performance and spent many years teaching and performing. She was an advisor to the Arts Council on the Women in Arts project in the early 1990s and represented the UK at several music conferences in Europe and the USA as performer/lecturer. Latterly her interest in Tibetan Buddhism led her to undertake a traditional three-year retreat in France. Now back in the UK she is picking up old threads as well as weaving new ones
