February 12th: Music of Our Time (MOOT) presents a Discovery Concert on the works of American serial composer,  Milton Babbitt. A new work, entitled Breaking the Set, by NMB member Georgina Bowden will be performed by Ensemble Kantores, directed by Alex Roose. Babbitt's Soli e Duettini for two guitars (1989) will be played by NMB associate performers Jon Rattenbury and Brian Ashworth; Homily (1988) will be played by Adam Bushell (percussion); Steven Dummer will perform My Ends are My Beginnings (1978) for clarinet. New Music Brighton in collaboration with Horsham Folk Club with funding from The Chalk Cliff Fund proudly present two concerts of music for eight part choir with instruments on October 21st and November 11th, 2017.
